“Partners are the lifeblood of our organization.”
So says Jim McGarry, UCaaS channel director, Central region, Mitel, who sat down for a Channel Partners “Fast Chat” (above) with executive editor Craig Galbraith.
McGarry touches on a number of topics, including Mitel’s important relationship with Google Cloud, its partnership with Talkdesk – including how it has changed Mitel’s strategy toward contact center as a service – and how the company’s overall channel strategy has changed over time.
“We are a 100% cloud-focused company,” said McGarry.
While Mitel wasn’t “born in the cloud,” you might say it is “reborn.”
At the heart of the conversation is what sets Mitel apart in deploying UCaaS. For one, there’s always a dedicated project manager. Second is the architecture.
“What’s changed over the years and continues to change is the way in which you not only deliver your product from a project management perspective, but the way in which your UCaaS system is architected as well,” McGarry said.
