Broadview Networks vet John Carr has joined UCaaS and CCaaS provider CoreDial as vice president of cloud services.
Carr brings more than 35 years of experience in the telecommunications, data networking and cloud services sectors. He will lead the teams responsible for managing and overseeing performance of CoreDial’s CoreNexa cloud services platform.
Prior to joining the UCaaS and CCaaS provider, Carr held executive positions at several technology companies. At Broadview Networks, he managed multiple teams as senior vice president of cloud services. Windstream acquired Broadview Networks in 2017.
Carr is well-versed in managing platforms ranging from traditional voice and data infrastructures, to cloud services networks, according to CoreDial.
CoreDial’s cloud platform serves more than 30,000 businesses and 350,000 users across the United States.
CoreDial’s more than 800 channel partners offer cloud-based business communications solutions through its CoreNexa UCaaS platform. Partners sell, deliver, manage and invoice services through a single, unified interface.
Services include hosted PBX and VoIP, unified communications, SIP trunking, contact center and SD-WAN data optimization.
“We’re delighted to welcome John to CoreDial,” said Alan Rihm, CoreDial’s CEO. “His broad and very relevant expertise and achievements in the communications industry are impressive, and we’re confident he’ll excel in this role.”
Carr is taking over for Kevin McAllister, who is assuming the new role of principal engineer.
“Our culture of enabling team members to grow and seek other opportunities within the company means no loss of institutional knowledge,” Rihm said. “Together we’ll continue to focus on building a strong team, improving our processes and technologies, all with the clear goal of delivering the highest quality, most reliable and feature-rich services to our channel partners and their customers.”
Last summer, CoreDial rolled out its CoreNexa Contact Center Certification Program, a training suite that allows the company’s partners to independently sell and deploy its contact center platform. The program includes extensive training on product, and how to sell, configure and support customer solutions. Certification is optional for qualifying CoreDial partners.
